EASA Part 21G Production Facility

For the production of aerospace components a company has to prove its competence according to the regulations of EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) Part 21 Subpart G. Only components manufactured under these requirements can be issued a "Form 1" and thus certified airworthy, so that this component may later be installed and used in the aircraft.

The EASA Part 21G operating approval is issued by the respective National Aviation Authority (NAA), in Germany the Bundesluftfahramt (LBA).
