Endoscopy

Rigid or flexible endoscopes can be used for visual inspections in cavities and vessels that are difficult to see. The same applies to internal inspections of pipes and piping systems and other complex component geometries.

In this context, endoscopy belongs to the extended group of visual inspection methods (VT), which is performed only by the most experienced inspectors qualified according to DIN EN ISO 9712.

Endoscopy reveals clear defects such as open cracks, wrinkles, wear and corrosion. It is used to regularly inspect pipes, non-open valves, ventilation pipes, chimneys and tanks.
