Tactile 3D Measurement

Tactile measurement is widely regarded as the most precise measurement method on the market. To map the geometry of a component, probes smoothly slides over the component point by point and measure straightness, roundness, and flatness of lines and surfaces.

Measurement is efficient and contactless. The optical sensors of the measuring system scan the component either stationary in the laboratory or alternatively on site at the customer. This makes optical metrology much more flexible than tactile metrology.
