The requirements for welding stores are clearly defined in the railroad and rail sector for reasons of safety. The EN 15085 series of standards specifies the requirements for both construction and maintenance. Part 2 describes both the classification levels for welded components and the requirements for the manufacturing companies in terms of welders, welding supervisors, test personnel and technical conditions. The CL1 certification level demonstrates the company's welding expertise in rail vehicle construction.
